Dr. Farmer grew up on a small farm in Aztec, NM. She attended South Plains College, Texas Tech University, and Colorado State University to complete her veterinary education. After getting married, she relocated to Eddy County in 2020. Dr. Farmer loves working with people and their animals to further their bond, prevent disease, treat ailments, and provide comfort when needed.  

 When Dr. Farmer is away from the hospital, she spends most of her time taking care of her and her husband’s cattle and riding her horse. They also have three herding breed dogs that excel at lounging more than herding. Dr. Farmer’s other true love is bovine embryo transfer.
