Mackenzie

Meet Mackenzie, one of the dedicated veterinary technicians here at CAC. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology and brings 14 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with much of her career spent in specialty and emergency settings, including neurology and toxicology.

Throughout her career, Mackenzie has developed a particular interest in complex cases, patient care, and client education. She enjoys helping pets through challenging medical situations while also making sure their families feel informed, supported, and confident in their pets’ care.

After spending 33 years in Colorado, Mackenzie recently relocated to New Mexico. Outside of work, she enjoys art, cooking, and learning new things. She and her fiancé love spending time with their many animals, including Karen, a pug; Monica, a chihuahua; Fernando, a rat terrier; Amanda Mayonnaise, a guinea pig; and their cats, Buck and Princess.

Mackenzie is passionate about veterinary medicine and feels fortunate to spend her career caring for animals and helping their families navigate even the most complex cases.
